The MRT fare only covers the ride to Taipei Main Station — getting to your hotel is extra. Taxis are mostly regular sedans and may not fit a lot of luggage.
For one person, the Airport MRT express is cheapest: NT$160 to Taipei Main Station in about 35–39 minutes. Kuo-Kuang Bus 1819 costs about NT$130–160, takes around 55 minutes and runs 24 hours.
